After successfully hosting the largest LegalTech event outside of London in 2023 (attracting over 350 sign-ups), LegalTech in Leeds will be returning to the University of Leeds's Esther Simpson Building, on 18th April, to host its 2024 conference.
Aimed at those working or with an active interest in the legal, tech or LegalTech sectors, the conference is set to be even bigger than last year, with almost 50% of places already gone, LegalTech in Leeds has ambitions to attract over 450 sign-ups. Please see the initial launch announcement here.
Over the course of four key sessions:

we will be taking attendees on a journey across developments in national and regional LegalTech and innovation, with an agenda packed with expert speakers.
Just like last year, we anticipate an exhilarating speaker lineup featuring thought-provoking keynotes, engaging panel discussions, interactive workshops, and an inspiring Innovation Showcase. Please see the first round of speakers detailed below.
Session 1 – National & Regional Landscape
Through keynotes from University of Leeds, Leeds City Council, Leeds Law Society and LawtechUK and a panel discussion featuring clusters and initiatives that exist across the UK, we will explore the dynamic LegalTech landscape gaining a comprehensive understanding of regional and national activity.
Session 2 – LegalTech Innovations
This session will shine a light on the trailblazers across the region that are reshaping the legal sector with innovations and advancements in LegalTech. You will hear from the likes of Addleshaw Goddard, Calls9, Dye & Durham, Thomson Reuters, DAC Beachcroft, PEXA, rradar, University of Law and Walker Morris.
Session 3 – Breakout Sessions
Dive deep into practical knowledge-sharing through interactive workshops designed to equip attendees with actionable insights and skills to thrive in the evolving LegalTech space. There will be breakout sessions focused on large law, SME law, in-house legal, LegalTech careers and M&A/Investment activity.
Session 4 – Showcase & Closing Keynote
To round the day off, there will be a high-energy showcase featuring 15 cutting-edge LegalTech/tech firms delivering lightening pitches to the audience. You can expect to see pitches from Barrister Link, Dye & Durham, Hanzo, Katchr, LegalTechTalk, Safe Capital, SA Global and more. We are also thrilled to welcome Ilves, a LegalTech firm from Finland who will feature as part of the showcase.
In addition to the power-packed agenda, attendees will have ample opportunities to explore the exhibitor hall, network during lunch, and unwind with post-conference drinks – creating the perfect environment for connecting with like-minded professionals from both legal and tech backgrounds.
